Portanto, diante desse pressuposto e visando um estudo mais amplo deste fenômeno o presente trabalho busca analisar as Políticas de Proteção a estes segmentos, através da intersetorialidade nos espaços de atendimento e atenção especializada no âmbito do SUAS – Sistema Único de Assistência Social. Pretende-se assim, contribuir para compreender os problemas relacionados às violências, bem como as formas como esta acomete boa parte dos idosos atendidos nos CREAS, tendo em vista que a compreensão da complexidade desse fenômeno é fator fundamental no âmbito das políticas de proteção para os mesmos e merece atenção especial no campo da assistência social. \r\n \r\n Nowadays violence against the elderly permeates a matter of bias that plagues the rulers, because, every day, statistics show the increase in this violence. Therefore, on this assumption and targeting a broader study of this phenomenon this paper seeks to analyze the Protection Policies to these segments by intesetorialidade in the spaces of care and specialized care within the ITS - Unified Social Assistance. The relevance of the study it is evident, especially to examine ways of operation of the technical teams through intersectoral in order to contribute to ensure the consolidation and the universality of the National Policy for the Elderly (PNI). The study proposes a reflection on the functioning of Protection and Support for the Elderly Network, based on the responses of technicians from the performance thereof, thus seeking to analyze, as the Special Social Protection faces and contribute to combating this phenomenon in Social Assistance Reference Centres (CREAS).
