Entre os estilos nordestinos que se destacam no contexto da cultura regional estão aqueles desenvolvidos na musicalidade de Luiz Gonzaga. Este artista produziu uma série de canções que são ícones da música nordestina, identificando as práticas culturais deste povo. No contexto da escola, torna-se fundamental, a partir da educação musical, ensinar aos alunos, sobre a importância da cultura nordestina através da rítmica da música de Luiz Gonzaga. Neste trabalho, nosso objetivo, é discutir o ensino de ritmo através da música gonzaguiana, na perspectiva da metodologia do pedagogo musical Carl Off. Compreendemos que devido a naturalidade com que os ritmos nordestinos, contidos na obra deste autor, tais como xote, baião, dentre outros, fazem parte do contexto cotidiano das pessoas desta região, ao ensinar na perspectiva da educação musical estas práticas, contribuem para ressignificar a tradição musical nordestina.PALAVRAS-CHAVE: Ritmos nordestinos. In this work, our objective is to discuss the teaching of rhythm Through gonzaguiana music, from the perspective of the methodology of musical pedagogue Carl Off. We understand that due to the ease with which the Northeastern rhythms contained in the work of this author, such as xote, ballad, among others, are part of the context of the everyday people of this region, to teach music education from the perspective of these practices contribute to reframe the northeastern musical tradition."
