ESCOLARIZAÇÃO DE IDOSOS NA ÓTICA DA PSICOPEDAGOGIA: UM RELATO DE EXPERIÊNCIA

    "resumo" => "With the thematic focus the education of the elderly, this study aims to share reflections processed from studies, discussions and experiences developed in the Group of Research and Extension in Aging - GPEXE, coordinated by Peacher Tania Lucia Amorim Colella. The experience that inspires this production was developed in extension action aimed at continuing education teachers who work in adult education (EJA) in three municipalities in the state of Paraiba. This experience took place from the Extension Project, PROBEX / UFPB, Continuing Teacher Training for School Inclusion Elderly, aimed to contribute to the qualification of teachers for school inclusion of the elderly. Studies for the reasoning of extension action sought support educators with knowledge of senescent evolutionary characteristics, policies and regula-tions that govern the issues of older people, preparing them for the development of methodologies that ad-dress the specific needs of learners of this population sector. While the whole theoretical framework was confronted with the reality that each one had, reflecting the adequacy of the practices now developed and functionality of policies. The methodological research, is characterized according to the objectives as ex-ploratory. According to the data sources used, a literature and field research. According to the data collec-tion procedure, as survey, case study and literature. The results obtained from the data found in the studied reality point to the lack of educational policies in the municipalities and unprepared teaching practices to meet the peculiarities of the elderly."
